School Bible Club began as a private ministry as an offshoot of Redbank Valley High School Bible Club. Redbank's club has grown into the largest Christian club in the nation, attracting the attention of the 700 Club and Christian radio. The goal of SBC is to create awareness, and to encourage and empower students to institute Bible clubs within their schools.
The information on this site is not intended to prescribe exactly how to model a club, but to serve as a descriptioin of how a club can operate. We want this to spur new ideas and help your ministry succeed, avoiding any legal problems. We hope this site will provide all the information and sample documentation you will need to help you starting, organizing, or maintaining your Bible club. Doug graduated from Redbank Valley High School in 2013 after serving five years as a leader for their school Bible Club. During his junior and senior years he served as the club President. He is currently attending Geneva College majoring in Student Ministries, while earning a minor in Athletic Coaching. His future plans are to use his coaching degree to minister to students and athletes who would otherwise not hear the gospel. Doug enjoys spending much of his time outdoors, in particularly hunting, fishing, and playing baseball.
Andy is a 2010 graduate of Redbank Valley High School, where he was a Bible club leader for five years; including his time as treasure and president. After high school, Andy obtained an associates degree in forest technology from Penn State Mont Alto, where he co-led the campus' Bible study. He is blessed with the privilege to teach the 5th & 6th grade boys class in his church's Wednesday night children's program and Junior High Sunday School, and to serve as a youth leader. Andy currently works for the Pennsylvania DCNR, but is prayerfully seeking where the Lord is leading him. In his free time, Andy enjoys being in the outdoors: hunting, fishing, biking and spending time with family and friends. Andy is engaged to be married in June of 2014 to his best friend, Abigail Joanne Muhl.
